Amazing time!

Nakasendo and Shikoku

Tully (age 7) Finding our way through the big train station was tricky. With Akio it was really easy. Akio’s good at moonwalking too and lots of fun.

Mia (age 14) says: Shopping in Tokyo with Akio was so much fun. He definitely showed us the best places to go.

Tara:
We had the most amazing Japan experience with Akio. From snowy mountain trails and ancient shrines and gardens to little tempura bars and soba-making and bustling city streets, every day was a joy - and our time was made all the better by Akio’s great company, patience and generosity.

Great Trip!

Nakasendo Tour

Robert

It was a great trip with Akio. Some great recommendations as well as being flexible with requests. Great accommodation mix of traditional inns and more western style hotels, I am looking forward to another Japanese adventure with Akio as guide.

Remarkable Trip!

Custom Made Tour

Yvonne:
In November/December 2017 I was part of a custom made tour with friends for 14 days. It was a remarkable trip with Akio being so knowledgeable, patient, easy to get along with and always ensuring we were safe and happy. The trek itself was extremely interesting and on a few occasions challenging but Akio always ensured it was within our capabilities, whether by slowing down or having a snack stop. The accommodation and food we experienced in traditional inns has formed a memorable part of the trek. Highly recommend trekking in Japan and with Akio.
